ISN'T MEANT FOR ME Intro G C Cm GCD verse G Em G EM AM C AM G CCBCD ch G C D G C D D C D C [Intro] His brain was like a Tetrees game, where he made the people fit. Everything has a place they say, but we all have our own screen. [Verse 1] A kid in the school, repeated anything he heard. Called everyone hypocrite, did he look, in the mirror? He seemed to miss the meaning, didn't hear enough to wait. His palm hit my shoulder, screaming what I said, yesterday. [Chorus] I'm not a piece here in your Tetrees game? Fear made your mind that way. Your mothers words she spoke, to you, and the lesson that you learned, that way, isn't meant for me! [Verse 2] Time plays no role for him, he doesn't change from yesteryear. Any un-natural occurrence, he'd just pound away his fear. I, swallowed my pride many times, they 'd forgotten why? Conceit or low esteem, which one will you claim today? Overbearing, or to shy, to sing? [Chorus] I'm not a piece here in your Tetrees game? Fear made your mind that way. Your mothers words she spoke, to you, and the lesson that you learned, that way isn't meant for me! [Bridge] They'll always command you to know the pain of the starving This is the measure of the for the 'slavery' they enforce. [Chorus] I'm not a piece here in your Tetrees game? Fear made your mind that way. Your mothers words she spoke, to you, and the lesson that you learned, that way, isn't meant for me! [Chorus] Am I a piece here in your Tetrees game? Fear made your mind that way. Your mothers lesson isn't meant for me. Her words she spoke to you. Won't you learn a clue?

"Panning Plate" by Brent Alan Beck G Bm D Em D Bm D C Wool upon my eyes to steel. And of burned bridges, for, leading no where. Darkness I'm adjusted now. To think you'd leave me here. I can finally see a hand in front of me. And obvious how, the wasted length's, of life & prime, where I could not see, to overcome or integrate, that life of love, to feel complete. Small minds that you've employed when you talk about shared escapade, of past. I'm not your ensample made, for refusing model candidate, or maturity for compare. For you to rationalize & then evade. For n the squeeze of the hourglass, life's a measure of who we share it with. In lovinghood, jealousy doesn't prove you care, & anger doesn't prove your jealous or just feared? So proud, when, they can love you only at a distance. Like rotting prize high up on a tree? They're afraid to climb or come near, to reach. So the chance I had, was never made, I blame them, still, I know it's how, I cannot help this now, still. When she left I couldn't replace why she said we couldn't last. As I watch complaint, from loved & lost of their burdened time. The turn I have, for coveted distant glittering. Like salt & gravel in bitter panning plate.

[Chorus] If she ever needed me and I was gone, would you love her the way I do? Share a little secret, fill her soul find a way to drop your guard for her. [Verse 1] We became departed in a time of war, I never got to see her again. Tribulation goes on in this awfulness, Barbarians seeks their spite's revenge. A people now say what we've the right to speak, have become what they once despised. For their jealousy they murder new victims every week and blame absent ancestry. [Chorus] If she ever needed me and I was gone, would you love her the way I do? Share a little secret, fulfill her soul find a way to drop your guard for her. [Verse 2] Extortion molds a soldier out anyone any time place or where, Social engineering teaches tear apart any strength that's there. They portray false perceptions each and every day, turn a channel and you'll see them there. Paid to act like they get along, lack of etiquette drives the rest to despair. [Bridge] She becomes my civil war bride, caught behind enemy lines. waiting until they get me alone, waiting until I make it home to your arms again. [Chorus] If she ever needed me and I was gone, would you love her the way I do? Share a little secret, fulfill her soul find a way to drop your guard for her. [Chorus] If she ever needed me and I was gone, would you love her the way I do?

In Twenty Zero Eight...

live in the city, write songs, about the city. 1. Seduce, is a figure of speech also using very figurative brushstrokes for the lyrics that are just a description of found chaotic notions. 2. Isn't Meant For Me or otherwise titled Your Mother's Lesson, is about that city life situation that starts in any schoolyard where you see and know another kid in your class has been given commands from his parents that you just know he's instead acting out on you. 3. Fears or Fear Unfaced is a song about wishing to leave into the city that you've heard so much about, but your fears you find are part of your decision. 4. Broach [Instrumental] is a great art rock guitar piece. Not to make it too complicated but a person with my musicianship must emphasize ensemble production because stand out guitar soloing is not the strongest virtue. This provides for a great overall piece of well constructed music. 5. Wednesday is a great single song about a four day work week once prophesied by visionaries in the nineteen seventies about how the work economy would one day be on the entire globe. That was when revolutions and the violence and warfare that make revolutionary war were not a concept, only love and brotherhood. 6. Think is a country chorus I kept from nineteen eighty nine which years later I added the verses finally also for. I love how I reference cement as castles which both structures are comprised by. 7. She Gave To Me is a song about finding your girlfriend in the city. Seeing any and all love as love. 8. Panning Plate is simply a song about your musician friends in the city that incidentally have all moved out of the city and also mostly all have become proud nepotists and can appear as immediate hypocrites faster than any dime can flip. 9. If She Ever Needed Me is about losing your girlfriend in the city. 10. Patriot is about going into military service. 11. Twenty Richards [Instrumental] is a fun guitar rock piece reminiscent of three guitar rock acts.

I handed a cassette to then Columbia Artist Walter Egan at The Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach, CA in 1985. Walter Egan proceeded to record & produce four song ep, receiving airplay on KROQ & college radio. A stronger vocalist was needed. Funding could not be obtained to entice the band members from pursuing other ambition in the; then; very strong business sector, where they remain to this day. ... more
